Quality reagents
Verification of the quality of reagents and control of batches used for the diagnosis is a relevant task to be carried out by EURL and EU-NRLs. To harmonize the criteria, it should be done using reference material provided by EURL (or equivalent).
In case a EU-NRL detects an unfit reagent or an specific batch of reagent, it should be communicated to the EURL in order to share this information with the remainder EU-NRLs.
The EURL includes in the private part (CIRCAB) certificates of the batches of reagents tested.
